Empowering functional yoga for water people
…supporting you in and out of the water
A sustainable practice for surfers. ꩜
Surfing asks a lot from the body. Yoga helps restore balance and support how it moves.
Hours of paddling and spinal compression can build tension over time - specially shoulders, hips and neck.
The Uloma membership offers classes designed to release this load by enhancing mobility, empower strength and unwind through recovery - helping the body to stay strong and balanced for the long run.
Dive in. See you on the mat.
WHY BRING YOGA IN TO MY SURFING ROUTINE?
꩜
-
A BODY IN BALANCE
Surfing asks a lot of the lumbar spine, shoulders, neck and hips. Yoga helps restore what time in the water compresses — bringing the body back into balance.
-
MOBILITY IS KEY
Mobility and restorative is the groundwork for a resilient body—helping reduce injury risk, soothe muscle soreness, and support daily maintenance.
-
BREATH + AWARENESS
Working with breath opens doors to confidence, calmness and connection — supporting safety, presence, and joy in and out the water.

Curious and brave beginners are encouraged to join. All classes include modifications, allowing you to adapt the practice to your body - slow and steady progression over anything else!
-
If you’re a curious beginner, start slow with one to two classes per week. As you feel more steady and confident, you can increase to three to four sessions per week.
A balanced approach works best: a 50/50 mix of mobility and strength, finishing the week with a restorative class and breathwork.
-
Absolutely! I also go through phases where I’m out of the water for a while—especially when I’m back home and surfing isn’t an option. These classes help me stay strong and balanced, so when I return to the ocean, the transition back into surfing feels much easier
-
The foundation of these classes is inspired by and rooted in strengthening and soothing the muscles we use in the water. Creating a weekly maintenance practice on land can benefit you in the water by:
Boosting endurance — so you can surf longer
Improving breath hold — helping you stay calm and confident
Supporting muscle and tissue recovery — so you can surf more often
Empowering strength and balance — so you feel better and stronger in the water
-
This isn’t a typical yoga platform. It’s a niche-focused membership designed to support surfers and active movers through functional yoga. Classes build strength, flexibility, and mobility, while also creating space for recovery, breathwork, and unwinding.
-
